  • Mulch Math If each bag averaged 45 lbs., and it does, and we had 2,700 bags, which we did, the total weight is 121,500 lbs. We had to move the bags from the pallet to the back of the truck, from the back of the truck to the front of the truck, from the front of the truck to the back of the truck, and from the back of the truck to the delivery point. A total of 4 moves, the total weight moved was 486,000 pounds. If we averaged 20 people moving mulch, each person had to move 24,300 lbs. If you are tired you should be. Not bad for a bunch of Scouts. By the way ...

  • Mulch delivery The mulch delivery is this Friday and Saturday.  Please plan on being at the church as close to 1 pm on Friday as possible, and at 7:30 am on Saturday. Please bring gloves, proper clothing (layers),other volunteers, and water with you.  Respectfully,Richard BerendsMulch Chairman
